EVENTS 2009:

Chelsea Barracks to Sevenoaks, Kent
Sun 15th March
To commemorate the first ever movement of troops by motor-vehicle by The British Army, this veteran car run will include members of The Essex Regiment. Leaving Chelsea Barracks at 10:00 and arriving (hopefully!) in Sevenoaks at approx. 12:30, where the vehicles will be displayed for an hour or so, before moving off to Hildenborough for a well earned lunch.

Great War speciality air display with surviving and lovingly maintained WW1 aircraft.

Somerton Arts Festival
Sun 12th July
The 10th Essex will provide some of the historical interest at this wonderful festival. Displays and "show and tell".

"A Military Odyssey", Kent County Showground, Detling, Kent

We are re-engaged for another large Great War effort at what is the largest show in the country. A truly superb multi-period event with literally thousands of re-enactors stretching across thousands of years!
